I agree with DGatzby, my 2021 REWB scheduled for delivery in March will be a keeper. Might not be the last year but will be close.

I mean and I think you mean, it’s not an investment or anything. It is at the top of the pile or close. It does most everything good and some things exceptionally well. The new hybrids won’t sound like it and that is big for me. It does the most important well...looks good and drives down the road like a dream. You can go have fun off road at tracks or strips and drive it home. Quick gas fill ups are easy also.

My ‘93 Harley; same deal. It is a numbered special edition and as pristine as the day it was built and modified to the hilt. Always a absolute pleasure to drive, looks great and even can beat on it. 45 mpg! Hell, now that it is 2021, maybe it needs carbon fiber wheels and some real trick lightweight stuff! Can’t do anymore mechanically without ruining it.

A bunch of us old geezers were there when this went down in the early seventies. We know exactly how it will play out and how it feels when it happens.

However, there were used cars to get your hands on. There was "stuff" you'd add to your unleaded gas. You'd modify the $#!+ out of it. In 1980 I grabbed a '69 Camaro with solid guts and built the monster I've posted in the past (cutting edge for the time).

IMO, this is Stellanis pulling the plug and moving towards EV.

One would think a performance hybrid of the current program would lend itself to less of a culture shock to the segment of buyers that are just not ready to embrace EV...man..if they do pull the plug (no pun intended) on what SRT has developed the past ten years...that's a big enchilada hanging out there....especially if Ford and Chevy maintain performance based ICE offerings...

Guess I should be happy (ok, ecstatic) that I have my 1 of 1 Demon a couple of hundred ft away at all times. That car is going NOWHERE...

Even back in '18 I thought the Demon had a real shot at being the all-time ICE high point. Looks like a near certainty now. Sure, HP hybrids and EVs will be here soon enough. To me though, it's just not the same. I want to feel, hear and smell my HP rides....call me crazy. I also have a strong feeling I'm not alone in my insanity!

I kept saying this to my dad.. dude in ten fifteen years both my hellcats might be worth 100k.. now that may be unreasonable.. but they’ll definitely hold there value better or maybe not depreciate much at all after the initial drop. No more power dollar new cars + perhaps no more hellcat engine in new vehicles = prices stabilizing and could only benefit the owners of said vehicles in the Used Market.. I’ll never sell anyway but would be nice to know the value would start coming back to us owners rather than new cars jetting out the factory with big discounts

The new Ram truck is one nice riding truck. I love mine.

Article clearly says SRT to be dissolved with team members being dispersed throughout Stellantis (ew). Reminds me of GM's SS gimmick. Even if the SRT name lives on we're going to have SRT mini vans, SRT everything, just like the Chevy SS Cobalts and the rest of that garbage. What a shame. SRT used to mean something.

Yeah....that's what the reports said...it would be on this chassis. But I guess since they have now merged with Peugeot......maybe it will be something different.
