Yep lol, Not going over 18 degrees no more lol, not worth it!!
With your engine it isn’t necessarily the timing but the detonation. As long as dyno is showing 10+hp per degree or 20hp+ per 2 degrees you “shouldn’t” be seeing detonation. But at the end of the day your fuel has a lot to say about that. Starting at 12 or 14 degrees and going up 2 deg at a time should get you what you need.

Saw a for sale advertisement for track hawk tips, and it reminded me of new ones I had in the box for probably two years. I put them on today. Probably five minutes per side only to swap them out, easiest and quickest modification I think I ever made on the cat!
I think I like them!

Took her out for a blast after putting the tips on to test them lol. 60-130 across the bridge, U turn and a stop and go on the return direction. Not too bad for cold February roads and first 1/4 pull in a while. The shifts are definitely faster with the real CDV removed. Amazing how fast 150 comes. Chiller working well too, 26-28 F start temp 51 F after the 2 runs temp. The little 2.4 performing well. Car sounds and runs so perfect I hate to change and put the Whipple back on but the lure of 5.25 and hopefully lower 60-130’s and 145+ street 1/4’s is hard to resist. 🤔

Looking good Mike. So you did the SRT lighted steering wheel thing too? I see something that looks funny in your log with the bypass valve? Rev limit?

Yea, I did the red airbag as one of my first upgrades when I got the car. Things look weird as I just got off the throttle at about 146 or so and it coasted up to 150, that screen shot was with everything closing, throttle, etc at peak speed. Thats why timing and boost looks so high, timing in the running tune tops out at 18 degrees and boost around 21-22 with the 2.4. That 25 psi is from the blower coasting from the free wheeling Satera pulley. You should hear it on shut down, makes a whirl down sound for 2-3 seconds from just at idle rpm, sounds neat as hell lol.

Nitto 305/35-20 555R2, I found them to give better cold road traction than the NT05R

They work good, I have went through 2 sets. I will be buying some new tires soon and don't think I will be happy with anything else but they do cost a lot for 1.5 summers or about 11k miles. They make a 315/35 now which is the same hight as a 275/40 for $30 more a tire.
