With Stellantis being the European Flair šŸ˜³I think the painting is on the wall. ICE is DEAD for us DODGE guys and yeh ok sure I could be wrong but NAH. The Europeans are border line worst than the Californians so better keep your ICE if you're an ICE Age guy.
Steallantis just needs a new gasser HD engine and we will be fine.
Just have to go back to the days of building your hot rod instead of picking it up at the dealer.

That sucks and with all the Greenies it wonā€™t be that simple. It will be restricted to Track use only would be my guess. The Tesla guy is making a bloody fortune off of Carbon Credits and it ainā€™t going to stop. Musk is really a thorn in our side since he makes money off us Ice Age guys. And he was one of the first to really go all out to create the Electric Vehicle. He has made more money than many realize by penalizing ICE cars. Heā€™s the problem in my view being he made it look easy for the radicals of the world to make Electric. Smoke and mirrors as usual once the Government has a hand in itšŸ˜”

Short in duration charge cycle?
We have lots of lightning here, so it could work.

If indeed they weigh over 9,000, they desperately need some lightening.

Please, all google it, read the articles, the lightning is heavy due to the batteries and tows what distance? Ford will not answer the question. Hmmmm, I cannot wait to get one, just great engineering, truly brilliant

Thanks, but no thanks. I have no interest in Furds (never had enough tools or patience to own one), and even less in vehicles that require batteries.
Guess I got the latter out of my system as a kid.

Brother,

Being "green" is all the rage, the math does not work, the logic is lacking, but it is all good, math does not matter, just roll with it.

I just read Nissan leaf does not heat or cool the lithium batteries which greatly reduces the battery life, apparently batteries need to be kept at 70F for best performance. Tesla heats and cools the batteries to increase the life, the more I look into this, the more I see unresolved issues. Nothing here to report, just move in

Hey, the only way I could make an EV work for me is by installing a wind turbine on top of it.

Unfortunately I know too much about losses when transforming energy from one form to another to even give it a try. But since we don't have any overpasses here, it could work in (someone's) theory.

It is all about energy stored per gallon, per cubic foot, etc. Gasoline, diesel, alcohol has much more BTUs per equivalent unit than any battery, that is why cars for the last 100 years used energy in a liquid form. Electric motors can be over 98% efficient, but look at the real world distance of any battery vehicle, it is significantly less than the equivalent petroleum vehicle. The price of petroleum is being driven up, imo, to try to level the playing field. However, over 60% of the USA grid is powered by petroleum, hmmmm

Hey, 2.25 seconds to 60 isn't bad.
You said you had two on order right, ChargerChallenger?

what is the tow range? the empty range appears to be 228 miles, again not achievable because if you run the batteries down past 10% there is damage.

I dont know and no way Iā€™d buy one if I was doing long distance towing.

I could tow one of those about 750 miles, if using the little 18-foot gooseneck behind the Ram 3500.
That's with getting around 10 mpg, by the way.

A 15-minute fuel stop later, I'd be good to go for another 750 miles.

Forget it... Didn't even realize this was an old Dodge logo.
