It's always a sad thing to happen.

Even coming back to this thread and seeing these pictures again has me second-guessing it. The decision is weighing pretty heavily on me although it doesn't seem like it should be that big of a deal.

You have to do what's right for you in the long-term. Will you be able to use and enjoy a car that is constantly breaking?

I've experienced a new car that was really bad. Bad to the point that I left it at the dealership and refused to drive it.

It sucks.

It’s really a shame how far quality has gone downhill with dodge after 2019, here about electrical issues/lemons like this way too often

I agree. I did love that car and wasn't happy about giving it back which I think my demeanor showed in the video, but I knew it was the right thing to do. The good thing is Stellantis has now reached out to me and wants to get involved in getting the car fixed up 100%, I'm going to put them in touch with the dealer, and someone will get a nice car when it's done. (IF they can fix it properly)

I have thought about pushing back on Stellantis to either find me another allocation or to "create" an allocation for my dealer, so to speak. But I don't really want to be that guy. I don't want a car by creating an opportunity that most people wouldn't have when there are people just trying to get a fair deal on a 23 in the first place. I also already replaced the car with something else (I posted a picture of it in my Electrical issues thread.)

That said if another allocation did fall into my lap, I would probably have a hard time not taking it.

You can still order until the end of the month. Problem is redyes are done. I'm sure that they can do something for you.

Don’t think for a second that Dodge/Stellantis is not thinking:

“Well, what will they do if we give them a POS, return it?!?!? LOL! And then do what?!?!? Not get a HC?!??! LOL!!! If we gave a crap about HC owners, we would have continued the platform. F’em! We’re selling Hornets now!”

I have serious doubts about the future of Dodge.

I'd agree but I tried to buy a Ram 1500 but it was only available with the eTorque $1500 driver drill battery. I cannot take that leap, I bought a Ford. Dodge/Ram has abandoned loyal customers. Now they need new ones.

To give them some credit, less than 24 hours after that went up I had an email from corporate and a few friends that work for or closely with the company received a total of 7 phone calls about my car.

Seems like they’re trying to get it resolved.

Of course they’re trying to get it resolved after you returned the car and they’re about to eat $80k+ lol
