I think you found a Good Place to Hangout @BULL Over there, In Joe Ed's Camp. PeachStateChallengerRacing and his "getocat"
He has Smoked Brisket,Margaritas, and some Shine.
Just for reference, my last fill up took 18.526 gallons...yes, and the stated capacity is 18.5 gallons. I told the wife we were getting "low" and better find some gas soon...I told her the real numbers AFTER making it somehow, and got slugged in the arm . You had lots left BULL lol
Man you got lucky!! I was running my car down as close to empty as possible to go back to gasoline for the winter I was driving around and I said one more lap around the block, pulled into the gas station was sitting there letting the car idle to let it burn even more fuel off while I wiped it down as I just came from the car wash and it died before I got the hood wiped off even, ran out of gas alongside the pump thank God. It took 18.55 gallons to fill it up right to the neck. So you were damn close and running on fumes for sure.
I read an article from fore in their kit instructions for a system in putting in a mustang that says running the pumps dry is a sure pump killer and it only takes a few seconds so be careful running that low, Last thing you want is a fuel pump failure on the drive home!!!
HAVE A BLAST GUYS!!

Jon and I were driving around trying to do the same. Mine took mid 17 gallons so we didn't drive around quite enough. I even had 5 gallons of e85 in the trunk incase we did run out
