Sometimes I’ll blip it and even let it grab a gear at high speed. If they do not recognize the throttle response then sometimes more hemi demonstrations become necessary. More often I get a thumbs up or something and no direct challenges. I miss it, it has been since the first week in November now.

All the time. Not much I/you can do unless you have a lot of empty highway in front of you. You eat up distance pretty quick. When I do the 1.5mi from a dead stop, it takes less than 40sec. Best thing is to laugh at their ignorance.

Took the car off the hoist and backed it out of the shop for the first time in months and the first time since installing the modified cradle etc. Didn’t drive anywhere because it’s still winter here but it was still exciting. I also got a set of flat stoppers off of marketplace cheap so put those under the wheels when it went back in the shop.

It has been a cold winter but things are warming up fast.
It was actually 57 F here today with some heavy rain and lots of fog rolling off of Lake Huron.
I live about 15 minutes from the world’s largest salt mine and the trucks have been lined up non stop all winter long getting loads. They were even running icebreakers so the ships could get in to the mine and load up.
I put the insurance back on my car April 1st last year, hopefully we get lucky again this year too, but I know winter is going to slap us hard again before this is over.
