We pinned Jon's crank a few months ago so today did mine. Neither then @jonx96 trying to cut his finger off on my car it didn't go real bad. On a Challenger those plastic pieces come off above the radiator where the chargers it is attached to the bumper. For some reason we thought we needed to get in there and pulled the bumper off. I have done it a few times and it isn't hard just time consuming with the pins and bolts that connect it. So that added way more time we didn't need to do:rolleyes:

Yes. We used my right angle drill. For some reason we thought we had to remove the bumper. The challenger we had to rip up the radiator cover plastic turns out the charger you don’t have to.
I cut my finger take the crank bolt off. Something slipped and my finger hit some really sharp plastic under the car. Went to a walk in urgent care. They wanted to stitch it. I told them to just glue it.

Finished pinning my crank today. The drilling was the easiest part. I had to take about 3/4 in. off the back end of the brand new bit however. Plenty of cutting oil as well.

Want me to start working on the snap crackle pop. Be a great day I’m the neighborhood for anyone who likes cars 😂 bad day for everyone else. Crazy how just reworking somethings added 25 ft lbs of torque.
hp was consistent but that torque curve is much more aggressive.
if you have prep issues use the first time if have the tire to ramp in power use that one. Be a great thing to have.

Sometimes something gets in your mind and you go with it. We should have left the bumper and only taken it off if we ran into an issue but sometimes you do the wrong thing. Between the daytona and hellcat I have removed it over 5 times so I know how to do it. I knew what needed to be done on the bottom and Jon did the top the last time and he couldn't remember why but thought we had to loosen something we couldn't get to

But yes for the most part you loosen the radiator support on the bottom and pull the fan out. Really need a tool to hold the teeth of the flex plate instead of a screw driver if we do another one

Also. When the sun comes out this will improve you can see the speed stopped at one point. Lots of spinning.

Yea, we can try snap crackle pop again, we’re gonna forget about V1 🤪

Yea, torque was up, you could feel it too!! I think HP too, everyone was complaining the dyno was about 50 Hp shy. I could agree as it was in STD and another dyno 800 ft higher in SAE said 947/850 just last week on a milder tune, todays dyno in STD said 945/878 but the car had more timing and street testing just before the show said it was faster then ever before, PB in 60-130 and also most sustained G’s ever in third on another test bridge I test 3rd gear pull on always, PB of .84G on that bridge on the way to the show this am on a 31F bridge, it’s new concrete grooved across the road and grips like your on 20 grit sand paper.

Pulls cut short as well, HP was still climbing when pulls where ended. They did not use a tack pickup off a coil for rpm, they calibrated each car by drum speed verse tach signal at 1000, 2000, and 3000 car tach rpm

That’s the exact same G’s my car displayed when I ran the 9.998 Pass at the track on the 315/50-17’s when I also got my best 60’ever of a 1.39. You sure that’s not my picture ??
Your lucky, I see from the dash it was done in a sissy automatic 😂

3RD GEAR???

:ROFLMAO::(;)

Cars pulled much more G’s then .84 at times, I just use that hill as a power test and 3 gear fits it, I roll onto the throttle about 25-30 mph in third and just hold on while it builds, (2nd would be spin city, M6 remember) and it gives me an idea on power + or - on tune changes, been recording 3rd gear G’s on that hill for probably 2 years

Here’s over 1 G in third but this is on a flat 60-130 run and isnt continuous G’s like the up hill bridge pulls, this is slip and grab G’s but still plants you in the seat and at 70-80-100 mph feels GREAT!!
