4 wheel burnout?
Remember when many thought the Demon was going to be AWD with 4 315s?

I'm interested in a Hybrid Hellcat.

I bet that thing hits 5,000lbs!

Was in my Dealer yesterday - Met with Sales and Finance Guys - they said there is nothing (of interest to me!) on the horizon.

I requested a Dodge Caravan with a Redeye motor and Options including a mattress in the back and shag carpet on the ceiling.

4 wheel burnout?
Something like that, just a tad of something I’m guessing

Electric motor assisting trans producing 90hp. That's my educated guess.

90 seems short.

300ish is my guess

I believe the electric motor will replace the torque converter. 300 more would be a lot through the trans.

Im curious as to what is required to pass the smog/cafe/epa tests.

Is it tailpipe emissions from idling? Driving? Both?
If they can put 900-1000hp Hellcat together but also have it drive 45mph on electric power (just a guess i have no idea) that can get in theory 70mpg. I have to think they could pull off some wild engine combos as sort of a loop hole.

Stick the 3.0L blower with a 426 in a Challenger with this hybrid tech! That will be a 150k car

If they go hybrid, they will need a huge battery. Where they going to put it? Will the diff handle the instant tq off the line? If I'm correct; what will the weight be? Wonder if they'll go duall clutch?

Nope, but you must hate lawyers (don't we all?)

My sister, brother in law, aunt, and 2 cousins are lawyers, and I like all of them, good people.

It would be interesting to add a pair of electric motors to the front tires.

Where is @RS when you need the real scoop, if one‘s savvy enough at cypher decoding, he would yield more useful info.
He was spanked and sent to the corner with a dunce hat. Sad

Back at the old site a few years back if one were to even whisper the word hybrid, electric assist, it would be penalty box time.
the times are a changing to keep up with the Joan’s.

‘If enough people complained or sales hurt because of it they would put a megaphone in his hand. It’s all about the $$

I would be Happy with just rear drive, but with the 3.0 blower 426. To make it useful though, loose a couple inches each side for bigger wheel well tub to get power to the ground with serious meats. Of course it would take a major improved rear end, and and fortified drive train from flywheel back. Oh and if they don’t loose original roots and bastardize it they could throw a couple small electrics in for good measure, it will keep flies away attracted by wild mustang horses and the like.

It will be interesting to see if this platform goes out with a serious all gas warhead effect, or a phased in electric assist until new platform. I would love to see what’s spinning the Dyno’s at Auburn hills.

You're correct in that there doesn't seem to be a traditional Tq converter depicted here, however the electric motor is also rearward of the tq converter and seemingly "in parallel" with the output of the I.C input to the trans.

4 wheel burnout?
Not possible, unless its electric front hubs. And the chances of even that are slim to none. No way stellantis puts enough money in to this ancient platform to come up w a workable ICE AWD system.

Doesn't need batteries. Slap second alternator on car to drive wheel hub electrics on. Launch (and other desired time). I'd gladly pay the weight penalty for 50 or 90 hp at each front wheel.
