Problem with ordering is its unknown with chip shortages which ones will get built and when, estimate for us is that and it'll be at least 9 months before it arrives. Think this is why built ones are popular at the moment and not all dealers want to sell for export plus depending on the State it can make a fair difference in price.

My UK dealer is on the case, offered me another blue one but without sunroof but I've decided I'd rather have black. Likely I'll keep this one longer than usual so anticipating having it wrapped in different colours a few times. Yes they'll do the door shuts etc but I think black is a much better base colour for not having handles done and other bits.

So, after watching a video of a sunroof I've opened up the choice to include ones with sunroofs which should mean we can find something that fits the bill, think I was being overly fussy. Not sure if Canadian ones are still cheaper but I would think so and there looks to be a few possibilities, will see what Charles and his contacts come up with.

PS. Out local taxis are black with yellow so the wrap will work out great.

It’s a tight fit, the two bolts for the ram bar closest to the cab are hex head. I changed them out for a stainless low profile button head. That’s all it takes to get the clearance for the power cover. That little extra millimeter of room. I did the install solo, wasn’t terrible. I’ll show pics tomorrow

That's what I thought, but you solved it for your case.

My hard cover rolls up, but on the top side, so I think it would hit.

Yeah the roller models aren’t gonna work with the angle of the ram bar and the handles that jut out.

I was thinking of getting the Bak X4 again which rolls up on the topside, have seen a couple of videos with it installed with Rambar and it just clears. I have one on my Rebel and quality isn't as good as my old Retrax but its OK and I like the extra bed space without canister. It leaks badly at the tailgate end but thats a feature of Ram boxes.

What is step up height? I.e. ground to interior floor level?

I've agreed purchase on a 22 black one. More than I was hoping to pay and it has sunroofs but I'm pretty excited

Delivery only 4 to 5 weeks, doesn't have Rambar but going to either get one put on in Canada or dealer will take it off the blue one as he hasn't advertised it yet. Going to also swap the rails for my power steps which will save me a fair amount, AMP are around £2K here.

Lol, no thanks on the block, hut yes on the height. With surgery on foot coming next month like to know how difficult vs expedition it would be to get in to. An old dude's question, yes.

the steering is in the center so you could easily learn to drive it.
