they also still wanted to rub the back of the plastic well liner without them. It’s no big deal, they’re perfectly safe. Installed longer rear stud in new hubs, and they’re hub centric. I also have the aluminum spacers rtvd on the inside of the wheel to take up the extra space of aftermarket wheels so they actually amount and sit round directly on the hub centric spacer lip
My plastic liners got trimmed.

At 180 mph I don’t know about magnets or sticky tape. I’m gonna want some actual screws in there. 😂
No sticky tape, just magnets and clips. They’ve only seen 142, I’m slow. They’re very powerful, can’t move them without a ton of force

I don’t use spacers and my 315 are as tight as they can get. I had to do a lot more than hammer to make that work but I hate tires sticking out. The flares would really cover them the way I like. IMG_2108.jpeg

I don’t think you can really compare your car to most on here lol. Those aren’t stock out at all - I wouldn’t put the big wide body flares on, but that’s just me. A lot of hacking up the car to still install plastic

And the Phillips performance ones aren’t cheap light plastic or fiberglass. Not sure what kind of plastic it is but they’re HEAVY. Really good quality

Can’t get 315s to tuck that well on a challenger with a lot of bashing

Nope. Didn't need them.
Nice. I don’t have them either, but surprised they fit that well on a charger. Usually chargers have even more of an issue

305s would of been sufficient.

Flares aren’t for everyone. I think the Phillips ones look the best if that’s all you’re look for it to cover the wheels. They’re low profile and look more factory than the actual widebody ones and still give you what you need

I spent some time watching the 170’s run on TV at the Legions and saw Rons car personally and decided I like the look. I have the luxury of having one with the same backspace wheel/tire combo as mine to see what it looks like with that. Even better and one thing I’ve seen first hand… no rubber to clean ! Sine you have your mind made up, if you go to direct connection, click on the wide body kit, and click on the install instructions. Shows you how they’re installed and what all to do

Thanks. I also recall seeing the holes with the pre-installed fenders. That’s why I was asking. There was a Challenger at a recent track rental that had it done and I was going to look at it find out how it was done. Then I got busy and forgot.
I believe you're talking about the white car at the Spankintime private rental at Bakersfield. From my understanding he had the factory flare kit installed (on the quarters) by a body shop he knows. Contact Bryan Sloan. He's a friend of the guy that owns the car and can probably tell you all you need to know.

That’s the car. Thanks.
