2018 Charger Hellcat - 53,427 miles.

Looking to change rear diff oil and maybe get a magnetic drain plug?

A little hesitant about changing transmission fluid due to creating issues? Most likely have my local shop help. Any advise or issues other than expensive fluid?

Coolant has been done multiple times due to warranty repairs...so good on that for a while.

Appreciate it.

THANK YOU @BULL !!

If you’re looking for magnetic drain plugs I make the strongest and most say the best out there. They’re a bit expensive but they work. For Hellcat, Redeye, Demon, etc and many other brands Ford, Toyota, Nissan, etc.

A8 Set below, left to right Engine drain plug, Oil Cooler drain plug, Diff Drain, Diff Fill, A8 drain plug.

I had both of these done somewhat recently, both at the dealership. Diff was real quick and pretty cheap, tranny was more expensive as it is sealed with a removable panel/cover that has the filter built into it that they replace when they do this. Dealer tech said the tranny did a real weird thing and clunk when they engaged it for the first time, performed a relearn procedure on it, and it has been flawless ever since. Maybe it was just pressurizing back up? I dunno, they told me to be really alert to it for a bit, but I have not had as issue. It actually performs and shifts great.
