SRT 041 filter update: those in the Phoenix area, found 1 dealer with "unspecified" inventory who would only sell 1 at a time to retail buyer, but told me of 2 other dealers showing inventory...and one of them supposedly has a mother load as of yesterday, like almost 300, and said come take 'em off my hand and offered much better pricing, so I am hitting the road this morning to grab some...

I ended up getting a decent supply from the dealer that does indeed have a lot of stock as of yesterday. I prefer not to get involved with handling and shipping, but the parts counterman told me he would consider filling phone orders and shipping - contact to discuss.

I was going for 2 cases but since I’m not a Prime member they wanted another 26 for shipping. I bailed.

Ebay is about $54 a case with free shipping.

No, $44.10 is the price for one order, $41.90 is the price if you sign up for automatic shipments every xx amount of months.

Prime maybe saves on shipping? My wife is a prime member. I just bought a couple at $44.10/ea.

p.s. a "friend" once told me that you also can buy at the Amazon subscription price and get max. savings, and then cancel the subscription shortly after ;-) that makes hitting the button a little less annoying

Honestly I need to look there more often, E-Bay was great when it first started, but their improvements many years ago killed it for me. I used to go on E-Bay window shopping cars and parts (and buying stuff occasionally) - Now I struggle to find what I am looking for....

I bought 2 PZeros from Amazon for the Charger when I wasn't sure that I was going to keep it. Went to get them put on and the casings were so bad that they were junk. Amazon refused to do anything about them. Pirelli told me to take them to a tire store and see if they would warrant them, basically no help. I threw them away.

the whole sales tax BS on mail order and eBay really killed the great buy days. Back when I owned my NHRA Sportsman operation, the money I saved at Summit Racing and Jeg's with my discounts, free shipping, and no tax was pretty substantial :-(

Now it seems that you can buy for the same price locally if someone has it.

There is also a Pennzoil rebate going. Basically if you buy 2 of those cases off Amazon, you can get a $25 digital gift card rebate. Basically making 12 quarts of oil $5.27/ea before tax.
