I could never understand why anyone would get a cat when they could get a dog that is about the same size!

My buddy s dog died last week unexpectedly
Very small dog
Maybe 5 to 7 lbs
I think it was a Maltese ?
They are devastated
Lots of work.
Inside, outside, inside, outside
They are / were always looking for people to watch the dog. Let the dog out etc
Plus they like to travel so it was a task

The wife s girlfriend just put her Husky down
That thing shit the size of a banana

My sister had 2 Rottie s
Both died young

I don t have the time or patience for a pet
I can barely take care of myself
My daughter has a cat I want to launch off the deck into the woods but I d find myself looking for a place to live

To each their own
Enjoy your pet whatever it may be

The problem is people who get a dog because they like the idea of owning a dog, then treat it like furniture or POS car. Dogs deserve the time, effort and devotion that they give to owners. If an owner can't or won't do that, then they should get a cat, which would be an excellent choice.

Great dogs are not born, they are made by the owners. If you ever encounter a crappy dog, it was made that way by the owners.

When we were kids..(5/9yrs old.)..an elderly couple 3 doors down had two dogs shepard/ collie mix...they were the most amazing dogs...went EVERYWHERE with us kids on bikes..hiking..baseball games..they were there..male...(duke)...female (dutchess)..for over 12 years they were by our side.every day...and if a family went out @ nite the dogs would sit on their lawn till they came home..have no idea how they knew...they played a huge part of the development of all the neighborhood kids,,,

Anyone get a set of Mickey Thompson tires covered in a silver graphite like paste? Almost like anti sieze. All around the bead and coating the insides. Never received a set of tires like this before, and I've gotten these tires multiple times over the years.

Did they still have the stickers on them? Are you saying it had that stuff inside the casings?
