I have a 2025 Dodge Durango hellcat when I first got it after a few hundred miles it allowed you to use launch mode everything worked perfectly. Then I went to the dragstrip and it simply would not hold so I read light multiple times I took it to the dealership. They are telling me that the car is sensing slippage of my tires to the ground so it is allowing the brake to release. That doesn’t make any sense to me. I have another vehicle with launch mode that I can sit there in gravel and as long as I hold the brake and floor the gas pedal it will not go anywhere. Does the launch mode on a Dodge work differently than any other cars launch mode or is the dealership giving me the runaround?

What rpm do you have it set to?
Had it at a pretty low setting whatever it was from the factory and it was working once we went to the track and noticed it stopped working then we started playing with the RPM bringing it up and down. The dealership took me from 50-50 front and rear switched it to 60/40
then put the RPMs all the way down and they claim it was working in the parking lot. It is the wife’s vehicle she picked it up. She did not launch it after she picked it up. I just tried today and it’s doing the exact same thing. Basically you hear the RPMs coming up but the car is creeping forward almost like if you’re just old-school power breaking.

don't care for launch control on anything I've played with, so this guess is likely wrong. Do those settings reset to default when the vehicle is shutdown?
