Intriguing, but what is the advantage over, say a car cover with a couple of moving blankets tossed over it? (honestly asking, not trying to be a smartass)
Supposed to replace the air 4 times an hour to combat mold and mildew. Also keeps car clean.
Biggest reason for me was the fact that it keeps mice out of your vehical. I live in the woods and mice are a concern.
Also my garage is a pole barn style. In the winter we occasionally can get some warm humid days that cause everything to sweat, even the nails in the roof of the garage
Then they drip rusty water on the car. Now it's protected from that too.

I went with this model (18'). More expensive but you can drive in and out of it without it deflating. Live in Michigan also and it keeps the mice out. Mice can cause some significant damage to wiring. They like the wiring coating that is soy based. I had all kinds of traps in the pole building and two cats. Pulled the car cover off of it one day and found a mice nest in the mirror pocket. That's when I decided not to risk it any longer. Have had it 2 years and it works well for me. You do have to have a large garage or pole type building as it takes up some space. Tip...If you buy one of these don't order it in the Winter time during freezing weather. Putting it together in freezing weather is not fun.
I used to use a car cover but like you said it seemed to just attract the mice. When I covered my old challenger I found mouse droppings on the car under the cover.
I would have gotten the one like you have but I don't have the room.
Why so soon? In Massachusetts we have at least a month more of the driving season. The cool fall air is actually the best for the engine. The summer tires. Not so much.

I know the weather is good for power, but I have a bunch of overtime coming up. So to get a nice day off on a weekend and to actually get that day off will be next to impossible. Then to get a nice day off the to clean the car up for storage. It's not going to happen.
I'm OCD about cleaning my car. I took 6 hrs. to clean and polish last time.
