lol, years and years ago, 6 of us were on the way to see Billy Idol in concert and we were in this awesome cadillac 4 door cruiser, 3 in front, 3 in the back row. 6 of big guys making even that caddy squat. I was in the back and told the other two to hunker over, so it looked like the three guys up front were driving along shoulder to shoulder at this series of stoplights. They must have been insecure in their manhood or something because they got pissed! Worth the laugh. Gas was like 69 cents or something. I can't even remember that far back.

In 1970 8 of us went to a Guess Who concert..in my buddies dads ford country squire 3 row station wagon..the deal was...we could take the car...(it was on E) ...we had to bring it back full...filled up @ a shack with 2 pumps..Highway Oil it was called...27.9 a gallon...we all chipped in...less than a buck a head...and we still bitched...

We were 16 to 18 yrs old...still in high school...thought my pals dad was a prick for hosin us on the gas...but then again none of our parents would let us have their cars..it was a 66..pea green..matching interior...and that funky wood on the side...no air...and the smell of english leather and hai karate cologne stunk the car up like a french whore house one guy stole half a quart of Southern Comfort from his old mans liquor cabinet...man we were stylin...52 years later..I remember it like it was yesterday...sadly..only 4 of us are left...

Here's an indication of how bad food costs are outta control...my business distributes bakery and food ingredients...a 35lb pail of clear soybean frying oil (used to fry chicken wings) pre covid had a whsl price of $21.00 to the end user...that same pail today..(are ya sittin down?)....$73.59...now if you know anything about commodities..soybeans are a traded commodity...the fundamentals don't justify the price point.(.translation)..big time price gouging across the board...now my profit structure is percentage based...I'm making 3 times the money delivering that one pail today...as I did pre covid..units are down..profits are through the roof...as are operating costs...long story short...this is not good for the consumer...
