Why futz around with those, get a real tank with a delivery service?? Those 2 * 100lb are about 3/4 day worth of runtime at best...?
Your right, but I was thinking to get by for 1 week, maybe I should think more long term.
What size tank would be more worthy ? 500 / 1000lb ?

I was watching this video the other day from the mid 60's England. The question was what will it be like in the year 2000 or something like that.. Almost all the kids were saying there will be over population. One said she didn't think she would like eating her food in pill form. Maybe what they were teaching them in school at that time made them answer that way?
I think with the push to go electric and what will happen to gas powered cars? Will gas be real expensive that not many will drive them? Will this whole change over take 30 years and we won't really notice it happening? What will the cars of the drag strip look like in 30 years, all electric or still much like today? One think is for sure, the electric cars can go fast and a 9 second one will be the norm soon with a bunch in the 8's if they are not restricted

I got the tanks that can be buried, so i don't have to see them. They are 1000 gallons each, a 1000 gallons lasts a long time, and we use a lot of propane.
We have many appliances that even run on propane that most people don't have like the clothes dryer, furnace, ac, hot water, and not just the generators.

Larger propane tanks are rated in gallons not lbs.
If you only plan to power the generator and say bbq off it, a 300 gallon is plenty. Get a gauge for it, when its down to say 30% to 40% call for delivery as its likely going to be a couple of weeks till the truck arrives. If you want to bury it for yard aesthetics, buy a tank that is meant to be buried.

Oh and if you are somewhere hot a lot, look into getting your ac swapped out for a propane ac and get a 500 gallon tank.

What he said, I would add that at this point of commitment, it becomes an issue of what you're willing to invest as well.

Local building codes also get involved : (

I'm not allowed to have a tank that size or I would.

They already have, in the E.U. and U.K.

2022... mandated speed governors, with Govt control.

Stay tuned, kids...

I think you mean, American leadership.

The answer is that European laws and regulations are much more draconian. Which means, a populace more controlled.

Speaking of generators, after the freeze here in Feb. & freezing my ass off with out electricity for a week, I bought & installed a 13kw Generac in April, now as long as the natural gas stays on I'm good. ;)
You didn't get the propane model??

If you're talking about the generator being able to run everything in your house, you should figure on a 300-500 GALLON tank for 7 days or so. A 120 gallon will get you by for about 3 days or so depending on load.

Figuring that you'll reduce load at night while asleep. You can get tanks of this size and larger in both above and underground configurations. My parent have a huge one buried in their yard as their heat and cooking run on propane.

Take a look at this for an idea:

2 years away in a production release, especially for a new model and technology, not a revision, is right NOW...

Start watching for spy-shots out in the wild.

It will do either with a switch of a valve, NG or LP. Since I have NG in the house I hooked up to that, with LP back up.

I'm no fan of EV cars but I have to say I am curious to see what this will look like and the performance it will pump out.

In the 2nd trailer Tim Kuniskis pulls the car cover back and you catch a glimpse of the front bumper.

Oh my..... Screenshot 2021-07-08 180130.png

As much as I love the sound of a badass engine and exhaust. I care far more about legitimate performance.

That will have to be the selling point to me. And it can’t be close to gasoline, it has to be dramatically faster
