Wow. I guess they aren’t expecting to sell as many EV Buicks. Surprise surprise. 🙄

Doesn't make sense, article says they are buying them out for as little as $200K ???? Dealerships, even hometown/rural ones are worth millions !
Hell, I hate GM cars & GM itself, but if you offered me a dealership for $200K, I'd have to swallow my disgust and snap up the sucker

Buick planning on being revitalized. In the 50s more doctors owned bricks than anything else. Had higher clout even than cadillac. If they place products right Buick could try to start to regain that rep. Dumping joe blow dealerships would be a first step.

Personally think they might erode cadillac share ... but I'm not in charge of GM

Sad ....my Dad was a Buick guy who owned most of the muscle cars they built. I later owned my own GN. This whole EV thing is going to fail miserably which will probably be the end of Buick and "Going fast with class"

This sounds like they're just buying out the right to sell Buicks. Many dealers own the land and buildings.
