My guess is he solely bought it to flip at some point as for keeping it in the garage and 15 miles. From what I have been following for a few years and Demon sales, most 2k-6k mile demons with crates bring around mid $120's while 80 - 500 mile ones bring $140's with a crate. When we see the occasional 5-20 mile Demons surface they were in the 150k-160k range so this one at $144,500 is another sign of current economy effect is my best guess. The one I am eventually after will be the a 2-7k car that I can put miles on without killing value and have it's crate. Almost bought a 7k mile in Destroyer gray car w/ black laguna/alcantara a few months back but no crate, that car I could have bought for about $115k at the time.

I haven't checked vanguard for a while but they were pricing them in the $200K+ range. I'm wondering how they sell them? Export?

A while back while sitting at a traffic light, a Ford GT passed me while making a left turn. It was driven through dirt, gravel and huge potholes. I was shocked.

My wife's cousin got married to someone who had similar type of money. Dad lived in the middle of nowhere and had at least 20 911s on his property. New GT3 RS, daily a Turbo S, wife had a Turbo cab etc. 1/4 mile long gravel road was their driveway. I couldn't believe it. He didn't care. He was having an aircooled one restored in his barn. Hired some guys to come in and work on his property to do it.

500k for a car is a drop in the bucket to these people.
