15" Brake Conversion??

What kind of success are people having with the 15" brake conversion? When is it needed for these cars?

Well they make you stop less. so they are never needed unless you are trying to lose weight.

Well they make you stop less. so they are never needed unless you are trying to lose weight.
I was wondering how much more traction would be picked up by using the big sidewall 15" drag radial? Is it significant?

I was wondering how much more traction would be picked up by using the big sidewall 15" drag radial? Is it significant?
Jon and I both lifted the wheels off the ground on 17" tire

I cut 1.2x 60s on a 17. Beefcake has 315s in stock. You’ll hook on those no issue

I guess I wasn’t even thinking about traction for your setup. A 315 on a 17 and you will see a significant traction game. Night and day difference from the 305s

You can never have enough traction. Bad prep or even sub pare can change everything. I can't stress enough how much difference added AAD arms and 315s made to my car. The 1st launch I thought I was in a different car

If I remember there's a 50 and 35 series in the 315. The 50 is quite a bit taller than what I have now and the 35 is shorter than the 45 - 305 - 18" on it now.

for me an @DemonSRT going from 305 street Rs to 315-60-15 radial pro made a big difference.
for me 305s 50/50 change of hooking, now hooks all the time.

When you don't want to be able to daily drive your hellcat and you are going all out race car to race into the 8's! ;)

The 35s are over 3" shorter than what I have now. That adds a bunch of gear which I'm not sure that it needs.

When you don't want to be able to daily drive your hellcat and you are going all out race car to race into the 8's! ;)
I'm not chasing 8s, just trying to get super consistent under any conditions.
