Can’t help but notice you omitted the 6.4 from your list.
Nobody wants a 6.4 in a standard cab ram.
the 392 would not be an improvement, or at least equal to what I already have. to get me to want to swap my '06 for something new, it has to at a minimum have more horsepower and torque than a bone stock '06 SRT10

You can walk into a Ford dealership and buy a twin turbo 5.0 F150 in any configuration you want and walk out with a payment book and a warranty.
Pfffft, ask me just how 'stand-up' they are when it comes to honoring the warranties on those builds - biggest pile of shit ever !!!

I dunno about "nobody". They're somewhat popular in the cab and chassis world.

What happened to you? Was the dealer or Ford to blame?

That's not a 1500.

Point being, if we're asking for a race truck, it doesn't have a 6.4. If we're looking for a flagship truck it has a 6.2 and optioned to the moon. A TRX with street manners.

Yes - all to blame !!
I ordered/bought a '16 Roush Mustang GT built by a large dealership (Elder Ford) in Tampa. They are a Roush approved install shop & do the builds on-site.

I had the following warranties:
Ford new car warranty
Ford extended warranty
Roush basic warranty
Roush extended warranty
Dealership 'lifetime' warranty
Dealership Speed Shop warranty

Long, looooong story short - car sucked from day 1. Sometimes would stumble/stall if turning from a stop o_O and vibrate like a cheap motel bed at 60+ mph.
Was brought in many, many times for service - in fact 85% of the miles were dragging it back & forth from Tampa. They replaced tires, numerous drive shafts (some of which were so bad the drive shaft balance shop in Tampa refused to balance them ) and messed with the tune.

It ended up sitting for 2 months at the dealership while Roush, the dealers service & speed shop, Ford FE's & dealership sales & mgt pointed fingers at each other in a huge circle jerk with nothing getting done except for them continuously yanking parts off, then putting them back on & eventually losing some of the appearance & suspension bits. All the while the car sat in the back lot of the shop.

At that point I filed to lemon law the car & easily won, getting back 99% of my $$.
Net - none of their 'warranties' meant shit !!

Multiple bad driveshafts? Seems indicative of a different problem, since that’s a factory part and there are millions of them out there without issue.
Sounds like a shitty experience, glad the lemon law worked out for you. We lemoned an Explorer a couple years ago, no lawyers needed, and they worked with us to get into a new one.
Knock on wood, my Ford warranty is intact and honored thus far.

Fact of the matter remains, Ford makes performance vehicles available to the consumer and nobody else wants to. Dodge needs to earn my business back. The Hellcat was an excellent experience for me, lived up to all the hype, and it was my mistake misreading the market that let that one get away. Ram steps up and makes my truck, if it’s all that, I’ll sign the line. My 800+hp street truck is the best of all worlds, but the Coyote is no Hellcat.
