My triple pump full return is on about as much crack as they can take, triple pumps, triple bap one for each pump. Marc and Fumanchu would not approve, lol.

With what you’re spraying, you have to be on crack for sure! Do you think that 3+3 setup increases your failure potential just in numbers? Would it be possible for a setup like yours to ditch the BAP’s and go with a stand alone external pump separate for the nitrous? I’m not a nitrous knowledgeable guy (it scares me 😂). I’m using the Aeromotive brushless external (7gpm) that covers my fuel needs with the single pump and 2200cc injectors. If I ever added a substantial amount of spray, I’m guessing I would need to step up the 10gpm big brother. I never intended to stay there. Last year I was going to mod but waited until this year which turned out to be a better decision:)
I kinda did plan on staying there. The damn car recall kinda changed that. Then I managed to snag someone's hand me downs. So if I can get this boat to run a 9.99
This fall on stock boost spring will be interesting.😉

Jim id love to see you in the 9s tune only. It is a hard goal. I can tell you when I didn’t get 8s 2 weeks ago I went home mad and was mad at the track. Then last week I made the pass and went 9.0 and was even more mad. Then I finally got it and it was worth it. But the process was frustrating.
The funny thing is it didn't have the break an axle tune in it yet🤣. I'm pretty sure it can be done. It will require some better air though.
I'm quicker this fall than I was later on last fall in better air. So I'm hoping. I'm sure it will be frustrating kinda like trying to run a 10 on Pirelli's . 🤣

I think the stock axles will hold a lot if there is no wheel hop. Adding AAD arms and getting the tires flat made a world of difference on my car leaving the line, way smoother

Historically I've not been a fan of a BAP, but a lot of people use them when the fuel system is just flat maxed out and it becomes the only thing keeping fuel going. If it's just to tickle a bit more from the pumps at higher RPMs as a safety net then it's not a concern IMO.

These Hellcats aren't "normal" cars. They're actually quite clever particularly when it comes to fueling. There's a table in the tune that monitors injector pulse width (the amount of time in milliseconds an injector is "open" and spraying fuel). In a nutshell the car is programmed to a specific amount of fueling and the fuel pressure and injectors work together to meet that commanded fuel. If fuel pressure starts to drop, the injectors will stay open longer (more milliseconds) to maintain commanded fueling. If that injector "open" time gets too long the bypass opens and bleeds boost. This is why you see people have problems when they try to run these cars too low on fuel. Same thing happens.

Data from a 2020 Redeye. Factory limits on injector pulse width. At upper RPM it's 13.7ms.

Interestingly, the Redeyes use the same pumps as a standard Hellcat as far as I know. The difference is the Redeye has two pumps instead of one. They're 285 liter per hour pumps. In a Hellcats and Redeyes the fuel pressure is variable and max commanded fuel pressure is 80psi for Hellcat but in a Redeye it's a whopping 100psi. That's crazy to me as my old car was 58psi. You can bump up commanded fuel pressure in a standard Hellcat but due to the passenger side venturi it won't get to 100psi like a Redeye. I've also learned fuel pressure and fuel flow are related. More pressure less flow so it's a give and take.

That functionality is bugged for most 2018-2020 MY vehicles and doesn’t work as it should like in 2015-2017 vehicles. Very unfortunate as not having proper boost bleed safety significantly adds more risk of hurting the motor when injectors go 100% and beyond due to fuel system issues or inadequacy.
