I have always felt Fords engine compartments look busy and border line cheesy. Take the poll which I feel Dodge does a better job on a really nice engine bay.

I'm partial to both being a GT350 & HellCat owner, but imho, the HellCat bay just looks cleaner and more appealing to my eyes.

I like the cover on the Ford Supercharger with the snake and signatures but I think the Dodge compartment is neater. I like the Supercharged Hemi covers better than the Ford’s.

Hellcat for the win! There's crap routed everywhere on the Ford. It's too busy and not aesthetically pleasing.

The more I compare, it's not a comparison. The FORD engine bays are sorta laughable. 😂

But, we do have that exhaust switch and the supplemental owners gift. That would be kinda cool if there was a HellCat version from FCA.

It's almost as if the FORD folks said..."As long as it all fits with the hood shut, we're good" 😂

The GT500 engine bay looks like a spaghetti and meatballs mess. I do like the brace. The Hellcat bay looks more well dressed.

I love the Shelby snake and having it on the supercharger is cool but it's pretty damn big.

The Dodge supercharger reminds me of a Belgian waffle, would have preferred a different look. Heat dissipation?.... maybe fins would have made the appearance a bit more pleasing.

I think this is a Ford below , don't flame me :devilish:...just to illustrate the look

Ford for me. Assembled (the motor) at least in America, and the UAW on the cover. Like the strut tower brace. Very modern look. Challenger HC loooks more old school (as it intends too). Remember when you could see the paint on every square inch of the engine bay? You could just about stand inside it to work on the motor. At this particular second, I think the Ford looks nicer. but then, I'm used to the other....

I think the big snake on the Ford looks super cheesy. Something a little more subtle would have been nice. The signature of the engine builder on that plaque is kind of cool, but could stand to be a little smaller. I believe the '03 Cobra had a decent size plaque. The strut brace has a nice, engineered look to it, but I have to wonder just how/where it is attached. There's certainly a lot of stuff to be crammed into both engine bays, and I think Dodge did a better job of doing a neat job of it. Mopar for the win!!! (y)

Hellcat engine bay is laid out with balance, & I like my 4 point strut tower brace too.

Imo the Dodge is nicer and cleaner, no question. The Hemi is Mopar's ICE crown jewel and take pride in it (or at least they know the owner's will) and you can see everything is pushed and routed around the engine to show it off. Personally, I don't like the plastic valve covers or motor covers on any brand. It's totally fake. You can cover an engine with anything and make it look like something else. Might as well take a giant picture of anything you want and drape it over the engine compartment and when yo pop the hood say "yep, there she is". What's the point of that? I took off the 'Hemi' covers practically as soon as I bought the car. Luckily for me I like the look of the penthouse valve covers on the RE. And besides without the covers my blower looks bigger.

Speaking of the strut tower brace on the Ford, did you guys notice that it has a center mounted gas rod for the hood? That's new to me, never saw that before.
Not sure if it's good or bad, but it cleans up the corners of the hood where the hinges are. My Fords usually used a snow brush to hold up the hood :ROFLMAO:

Coming from a guys who's had 10x more Fords than Dodges... the mod motor in that little Pony car is HUGE... they're working with what they got from a packaging perspective.

Having said all of that, what a mess it is under that hood. Dodge, hands down!

Hellcat engine bay is perfect. Not my taste to glitz it up with colored chochkies.

As for Ford - I have a 29 Model A Beach racer - pull up the wooden floor boards and its amazing!!
