I was pretty close - drove a 64 Plymouth Valiant -slant 6, 3 on the tree. My sister totaled it, but then a buddy "rebuilt" it - the slant 6 ran for over 200k miles with probably 6 - 8 teenagers driving it as their "first car". It was kind of a community car and took a lot of abuse...

Good buddy in HS had one and it had sum milage on her. Slant 6 and shifter on the column. Then I graduated to a Dart.
