I hold down the traction control button for several seconds and sometime it turn off completely but not ever time. My car is a 2016 challenger. Is there a glitch that make it works sometime and not other times you reckon?

hellcat....when I had my scat pack it worked every time. But this hellcat might work might not. And you can hold the button down as long as you want and the traction control says off but it's not

It might depend on what mode you have your settings set for?

you can put it track and still has some traction control....there's 2 lights one will come on but to the left of that light there's another.. and if it spins a little to much it will come on. I have tried in all drive modes. At the track I run track traction, trans on track and susension on street custom setting.

If the traction button responds to your presses but doesn’t want to turn off completely after holding it for 5-10 seconds, that usually means there’s a fault somewhere, like with suspension or abs. Use a good scan tool to look for codes stored or active in either of those modules.

My first run was good and traction control was off ran 10.97@ 127 after that 2 runs at 11.23 and 11,15 and the sixty on the 10.97 run was 1.50 and the other 1.80+ tires had the same air pressure in all runs

Personally I use traction control.
I do like to do a good burnout at the start and then just haze the tire after

I still do a burnout. Well, more like a scuff.

Any of those things. These cars produce a lot of heat.
