I've posted this on the other site as well, so I'm apologizing in advance to those who visit both. I'm a little pressed for time, so can use a few answers over the next day or so. I've got an appointment for an alignment on Wednesday and was wondering how I want the tech to set up my AAD Rear Suspension tabs. I realize it's a matter of compromise between straight line performance, and going around curves. I'm looking to plant the power as effectively as possible but don't think I want to go for a full "drag race dedicated" set of numbers as I don't want to compromise handling. Can someone make a few recommendations as far as caster, camber, and toe for a street car that does not go to the drag strip, but wants the most out of these AAD parts? Thanks as always guys.

Actually it is not a compromise.:p Good news IMO anyway.

I have mine set about as flat as I can get it for camber. I have the toe set about the same, as near zero to just a bit of a toe-in. In other words the drag racers do have it about correct for anything.

I use those settings for the street and HPDE laps. The rear tires (PS4S 345/30 street, Cup 2 345/30 track) don’t show any edge wear, it works fine on the road courses and gets great traction. I have tried other settings, and the Redeye struggled with traction on course. It does just fine on the street also.

You won’t read this over there, as I don’t need six other “experts” to weigh in and write a thesis response on what works on my car.

Good luck! I did need to order a couple of extra tabs for the toe, that were not initially supplied to finally get it where I wanted. But they can send them quick if needed. I hope you have all the tabs you need.

0* camber L/R and about .05-.1 toe in with 0* thrust is optimal. This was roughly equivalent to 6's in one side and 7's in the other IIRC. I've posted it before. It actually reads slightly off on driver side with no weight but once I'm in the seat it 0's out. Perfect.

Do not under any circumstances go toe out. DO. NOT. Period. Ask me how I found this out...as the rear started dancing like Shakira at 150mph.

Thanks guys. Car is going in tomorrow, 0800. He's never done an AAD set up before, but has been in the business for 40 yrs. Hopefully he figures it out. (As cheaply as possible)!

Tell him to set it up like you want, THEN put the appropriate tabs in. Makes the process a lot simpler.

@Speedy! so if I’m following you correctly have him set it up with the specs I want then just pop in the tabs that most closely lock down those settings? Record whatever compromises we need to make due to not having the correct tabs, then contact AAD for required pieces. Then replace those temporary pieces with the ones from AAD. Is this right? Thank you

Here for 3 hrs and still not done with just the rear. Although they’ve never done one I had faith. I’m loosing that faith pretty quickly at this point. I’ve already told them to forget the front alignment and just get the rear done as I’ve got to get to work. Cant wait to hear what my bill is going to be. 🤮

Cost me extra bc they didn't have experience with AAD but it squats and goes now so I'm happy

79.95 and I really only helped get it on and off the rack. I always went home to set the tabs. Took 2 trips. So 160 total for me.

Parker got me so close on the first go that it only took one change. It can be done on the rack pretty easily if they're creative. You don't have to take both bolts out either to adjust.

If you had a close starting point it shouldn't take that long. I will put mine on at some point and have a place close to the house that I could help them if they needed it but looks straight forward

Mine took 45 mins. Should have been straight forward. Set the values put in tabs. I did a lifetime alignment in case I wanted to ever make changes it was $149I think.

I wish I went to a place familiar with this set up but none to be found. In for a penny, in for a pound I guess. This sucks.
