Is the $1898 premium for the Beadlock-Capable Alum Wheels over the Polish Black worth it?

Edit the title to TRX I thought it was for the cars. And yeah nice for the TRX bead lock but price shop for similar aftermarket first.

So you’re talking $1900 for four factory beadlock TRX wheels instead of the standard wheels? That’s a $450 per wheel upgrade to go the the beadlocks? That’s not unreasonable. You can’t buy high end beadlock wheels for that.

What does Capable mean? Versus say a true Beadlocks Rim?

That’s a interesting question. They could make a wheel where you can mount the outer bead of the tire inside or outside of the wheel with a bead lock ring..... your choice. I think there are DOT issues with real bead locks for street use. But that way you have the option of using the bead lock function for when you’re going to run the Baja 1000. Pretty nifty way of getting around that.

Wasn't the deal that the need parts to make them bead locks had to be purchased separately?
For a small fee, of course.

But since the vehicles are apparently sold out, you'll have time to decide.
