My first engine mod complete, thoughts???

Do I really get the honor of being the first guy on the new forum to start yet another catch can thread?

Anyway after waiting over 2 months for my catch can to ship I have it installed. Not sure I am crazy about the color though. My car is Destroyer Gray with Brass Monkeys so thought it would look good, but then again I was many beers down the night I placed the order. What do you all think? Is the color hideous, or look ok? I think black or silver would have been a better choice, but its slowly growing on me.

Being an ex-custom motorcycle owner/exhibitor I have learned to respect others selections to please their eyes. I’ll post up a black install from my garage and let you decide OP.

I looked at this earlier and my initial reaction was - mmmm not so much. As I look at it again, it's kind of growing on me. I definitely don't hate it, but wouldn't be my first choice. @rdlsrt may be onto something. More of the same color could work better.

I think to each there own - do what you like. 45, that's an interesting color and makes the can stand out nicely. Gatz's black is the lower profile, I'm factory, install. i think they both look good.


EDIT - I found out why I like that gold look. It's the matching hose couplings. The blacks fade into the rest of the motor/hose; the gold stands out, but not too much.
