needing some advise. i have 2018 hellcat widebody. past few months car has been running fine on 93 octane tune and lower damper.
have added kong 108 mm throttle body, kong ported snout,and demon injectors. was advised to fill the car with e20. have mixed before with 93,but not straight e20.
go out for evening cruise and check engine light turns on, and traction control light. car then goes into limp mode. fault codes p2096,p2098, and p2174.
any advise would be appreciated. not sure if the car didn't like the fuel ? i have also seen ported snouts crack.

2096 and 2098 are Downstream Fuel Trim System 1 & 2 Lean...

2174 sudden low airflow detected...

Your car was tuned on a set of specific modifications and for a specific TB.

You then added more modifications with a significant throttle body change, injector change AND changed the fuel composition without at least a base tune update for the TB and injectors?

Color me shocked that it tripped fuel trim lean codes on E20. Color me even more shocked that it triggered limp mode on a kong 108.

The poor thing doesnt have a damn clue what is going on right now.

There could be other causes (wiring issues)...but contact your tuner for a remote update first or head to the shop for some dyno time. The injector data needs updated and specific changes need made to accommodate the kong 108. After that...get back to straight 93 and log the car to see what it is doing.

Thank you for the good advice. I forgot to mention that it was tuned Saturday morning with those modifications.

That changes things significantly.

Contact your shop/tuner today and describe to the best of your ability what exactly happened and exactly what fuel mix you used.

Should be no reason not to be on 93 if your overall pulley ratio is less RPM than a 2.72 upper or a 2.85/10% upper/lower... a street tune for the mods you listed shouldn't be aggresive enough to require that much octane. Really no reason to fill it with E20 at all.

Thanks again. I was leary myself about the e20 fuel. Tempted to flush the tank,and go from there

I am not.
Tim Barth will tell you its Tooning.
There is also a man who uses Diablotoona as his company name.

Josh@HHP likes to use Calibration.

We all use Tuning, so now do the Tuners.

Oh and now you can post that in the "What I learned today thread 😁

I just can't spell it tooning. They may say that but in the 30+ years I have played with cars, this is the first time I have ever seen that. Maybe it is a region thing. I will have to say it is slang to tuning and it it used by some but not many.

So what I have learned today is some spell tuning wrong:)
