I do not believe The Electric Car will Dominate. I think it is a Trend at the moment, that eventually will become the next very bad thing for our environment.

This just reminds me of "Save the Trees" back in the 70's Besides the Toilet paper Hogs....... Is there a paper shortage?
No, with the many trees that are planted to grow for paper that issue was resolved for the time being.

But look at what also happened........ Hey "Lets Go Plastic" Now we have too many platic things killing the environment and think about the BPA that effected so many peoples health.
Now we are back to ( Pretty $hitty) Paper Straws. It's a Balance that is needed.



I don't think electric cars are a bad thing. But what will happen to the many Dead Batteries and Huge holes being dug to get out of the Earth what is needed to build them.
Just wait until we hear I battery wasn't charged or I could have made it to the hospital to save my child's life.

Personally, I think our government should actually put money into the infrastructure for better ways to transport the many people in Cities using Electric Batteries. This would be less vs to keep pushing the everyday driver to have one. This will be too much.

My thoughts on Balance - My Granson Pierce said to me "When I grow up and buy a car I am buying a Tesla" I said "Good because I am going to continue to race my Hellcat" Your car will balance my car

Please don’t think of all the fossil fuel used in making all these electric cars. Next don’t think of all the FREE wind and solar power you can get. Lastly wait till the power grid goes down because there’s no wind or sun to “drive on sunshine “ Snowflakes!!!!!!!!

I was just at the Hoover dam 2 weeks ago. It’s now down to only 26% of capacity. Out of 19 generators only 1 was running, proof is in the picture, see the out let stream (yes, singular tense, 1)how many do you see moving water?? Another 100 ft and they won’t be able to even turn a generator or pass water down stream, then what to all the irrigation damns below? And Vegas and Phoenix just keep growing and growing and growing.

This was once all water, just a few peaks sticking out here and there. 40 years of declining levels, think it’s going to magically change or continue this trend??

Its just to early to scare off potential buyers

I wish I could fill my truck up for free ( I mean on the backs of all tax payers )

A heatwave is running thru a large part of the country.. Keep an eye out for news of "rolling brown-outs" as the grid can't keep up with demand. I'm sure that adding a million or more EVs to the grid will have no impact.

When it happens, I have plenty of petrol-powered cars that I'll rent you for a great price.

It looks and is horrible huh? Actually that one tail in the water with air is something that is NOT a normal functioning turbine/generator. That may be an intentional air release into the pool to help with the dissolved oxygen content below the dam. They have been upgrading the turbine-generators for a while there in order to produce power with low flow. Many of the 17 generators are operating, but not at full flow. Look at some of the other eddies you can see in the water, those are the "normal" functioning units. They are apparently putting out about 1500MW or 25-33% less (depending on who you talk to) than the 2074MW it puts out in normal operation. The Glen Canyon facility is worse off.

We toured the generator rooms, only 1 was in operation. The tour guide said they can only pass so much water and that’s all that could be used for generation. 2 smaller units that supply power for dam operations where running. Tour guide said power generation was third on the list of priorities for the dam. Flood control the first, obviously that’s not a issue at the moment, water allotments for municipal and agricultural the second and that’s where all the water is going, and what’s left, if any, power generation. They don’t have a positive outlook there generation wise. Gen rooms where empty and quiet, the usual hum of operation gone.

Yep, probably even more then that, it’s receding quick. Capacity was listed at 31% but in just 4 weeks dropped to 26% so depending on age of that google map it may be even further then that now. Sad

And that exactly Phoenix’s plan, tap into under ground aquifers, they say 100’s of years of water down there. Every developer out there has to submit a 100 year water plan before getting a permit to build another development. There’s literally 100’s underway, I wonder if they’re all submitting the same plan to use the same water lol
