I have a theory:
Bots are searching questions on the net and posting them into forums to "learn" how to deceive humans. There seem to be more and more "questions", most stupid, by new "members" with only 1 or 2 posts. These same "members" have never made an introduction.
We should stop responding to anyone new "Member" who never made a proper introduction. Don't even tell them to make an introduction because we don't want bots to learn that they need to do so.
If we help bots, we might just be helping Terminator...
You are not paranoid if bots really are out to get you!
