Purchased a RCA Cambio 12” tablet found here at Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089ZZ8SHT/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_aW5fFbF89G9KV.

I needed enough memory and flash space to run VCM Scanner. Downloaded the beta, installed, did all my Windows updates and removed all the GUI animations that would have slowed it down.

Went on a half hour cruise to see how it would perform, power wise and to see if it would be laggy. To my surprise it performed well. Its sole purpose is to run VCM tools and thats it! And it does it flawlessly and the battery lasts! Went down to barely 90% on full brightness. The keyboard is okay and will make adjustments super easy on the fly. Also the virtual keyboard paired with a stylus is amazing too! This week I’m going to enginerd me a mount, we’ll see how that goes. This is 100% safter than having a 17” laptop in the seat next to you.

I like this. A lot.

Mind sharing some screenshots of the parameters and configuration for those histogram?

I think I see a couple I'd like.

One that I did...I flipped the STFT+LTFT to plot for fuel mass changes instead of IPW...since that is how it appears my injectors were initially scaled after importing the data from FIC. I also have it set up the traditional way for IPW changes to see the differences between the 2.

I do not have separate ones for STFT and LTFT. Just the combined math. I should probably split them up once I get more miles on it.

After doing a lot of searching and reading and commenting on here and watching videos and going to courses online, etc I found my sweet spot for data logging and would definitely share with you. I've attached my channel config, graph configurations and my whole layout. If you want the background image for the hellcat for the graph's please let me know.

This is awesome thanks .
I have a small 11 inch laptop I use for tuning and data logging but a small tablet on a mount would be convenient for data logging only . I know @moparjim did something similar to this .

Thanks for sharing

That is very generous of of you to share after all the time spent setting up your scanner like that. After tuning only gm stuff for years this will be a great starting point. And of coarse we want the background image. Got one with a little red dot in his eye??

I believe that we need to change the tuning community for Dodge, other than Speedy putting up videos and learning what I could on the forums of HP Tuners it's been pretty much a closed wall. If it wasn't for the Tuner School Books I'd be in the dark still. Here's your photo:

The little red dot is there, I swear it!

Its hard for me to get my head around tuning trims by changing what the ecm thinks the injectors flow. I thought that would stay fixed if you had the right data. We always hacked the MAF tables on GM stuff although that is probably not the best way either.

The only way to nail those injectors without qualitative flow data is to drive on 0% ethanol 91 or 93 if you're trying to get trims accurate for flex fuel inference OR...drive consistently on which fuel you do plan to use. 10% 91 or 93.

For those on flex tuning...accurate trims on your BASE FUEL is super important to keep the inference of alcohol content inside of the 10% margin of error.

I've noticed FIC are pretty non-linear below 1ms as curt said...each set would be unique and need cleaned up individually.
