Congratulations to BMason for setting the record for Stock Boost Pump Gas.
He came close last night running a 10.08 and 10.07 then the last pass of the night 10.059.
No pullies or power adders just a tune and some weight loss and great air.
Also lots of time spent on little things to improve small amounts and constantly testing. Screenshot_20230218_092244.jpg

I'm betting he is lighter then you Jim. Other thing not to take anything away but adding "octane booster" is adding octane and these cars have spark knock sometimes. I would like to see both of you at the track with only 93 in and see what happens

I add octane booster because our 94 is utter crap in spring and fall. So I run 91 and have to add something to get me there.

I add octane booster because our 94 is utter crap in spring and fall. So I run 91 and have to add something to get me there.
I agree though, same track same time would be awesome.
Your 60 ft is better, my thought you would have run maybe a 9.99 if you would have been in the other lane

YUP! I remember back in 2016 when all these Stock records were being made. I got a PM from "Jerome"
He asked me how they get that ET?

I said that you do see the Hellcat Go down the Track, but you never see the inside. Most likely the passenger seat is out. ;)
And now we have the Demon with 1 seat!

My Husband was always posting up everything that had been modified on his Hellcat.
He disliked all the secrets from the prior to the Hellcat SRT8's

I think it's Great for Brian Mason to have a New stock boost record and a New PB!

I remember when my John had a roll cage, seat delete installed.....no weight savings for that.
I'm not sure what "Top Cat" weighs now.
I'll have to find out

-2000 Da from that should be close to 3 tenths

The best DA I have been in with my Dodges has been -400 I believe. My best time in the Taxi was +500

-2000 Da from that should be close to 3 tenths
I don’t think my fuel system would hold

Down around 0 for me. Problem is the temperature drops below safe levels here when it gets that low.

Injectors will be fine I think. The pump is the weak link

Houston is one of the few dragstrips that can have mineshaft air at a temp warm enough to have a great surface. And it takes work on the part of track to get the surface great in those conditions. Got to give the track workers some credit for that.

Bmasons record is impressive. Now if he can get that thing to 60' it'll really stroll. ;)
He has no problem making it lighter but if dodge didn't put adjustable arms on the demon he won't do it. He won't take the front sway bar off (demon has bar) but will install aluminum front bumper:unsure:

Gears or not I don't know how much better 60' improvement can be had. He did spin a little so maybe 1.45?
Power at launch is going to be the limiting factor. He is technically leaving on slightly more power than a stock car. No gains from pulleys or fuel for that matter.
