1968 Dodge Charger R/T 426 Hemi
426 Hemi (6.66 Date code)
K5, Deep Burnt Orange Metallic
727 Transmission Automatic Dana 3.54:1
Rotisserie restored to factory 426 spec. 5-year restoration, pretty much what your grandpa and your dad talked about and the way they left the factory
Car is like it was new from the factory but is not an original 426 car.
Body is perfect with steel wheels and dog dish hubcaps on redline bias ply tires. Also have magnum 500 wheels with redline radial bias ply looking tires to go with the car. I just liked the steel rim with dog dish, my preference.
NO Rust, car looks beautiful inside and out. New seats, carpet, headliner. All outside body trim including vent window frames are new with new window glass. All stainless steel is high polished and not a spec of rust on any of the chrome. New front end with heavy K frame, heavy torsion bars and big block rear leaf springs. New bumpers, gas tank and lines, grill, emblems (sail, grill, rear end), new black vinyl roof, new wiring harnesses throughout, new taillights, pretty much a brand new ‘68 charger. Has new steel rim with redline spare and proper jack.

It checks all the boxes original R/T SE. The body and correctness will be utterly flawless being it is from Mark Wormans shop @Graveyard cars. Although not original TX9 Black and dose not appear to be original matching numbers engine, I think this will be drop dead gorgeous and correct in every way as the price reflects it should. Lot of money but when done it will be a lot of car. I would expect it will be better than when it rolled of St Louis assembly line. You could watch the episodes of the car being restored, and call mark for more details, picks probably video.

My concern with those guys is I've seen them take as much as 5 years or more to rebuild a car. Hell I don't know if I have that much time left.

It gets harder to do with each passing year...(I have a tendency to do stupid stuff)..think she'd be used to it after 48 years...

Ebay posting says it will be finished this January. My guess Pebble Beach quality. That level of finish I would be nervous driving it but heck it’s only money and we only live once. Live it the way you like. I can’t wait for the episodes to air so I can watch the whole deal start to finish.

A good friend had them do his Hemi convertible. Paint wise they are pretty good but overall, they are not as good as it looks on TV.
