It was unexpected ugly in person to my eyes. The interior looked like it was a rental. The rubber as usual would be entirely inadequate for anything we would consider driving and the damn wheels are still black and again to my eyes look like shit. And it was orange.

Oh so good. Wait, but, but if, “Matthew 5:29 states that if your right eye causes you to sin, you should gouge it out and throw it away”. In this case the eye did not cause sin, but my own eye was offended by Dodge!

Not sure what I think of the new Charger....don't hate it, but don't love it either. Not interested in paying 60-70k for an I6. If they put a V8 back in them it might make it a little more enticing. Problem is they will probably over price them to the point few can afford them when they do bring the V8 back.

My thoughts exactly, I am stuck in the middle.

Hated it the first time I seen it. But this picture moved me to the middle.

There’s rumors that it will have an aluminum block which is a necessity at this point.

Referring to when he said “most buyers want the more powerful Hurricane”? If so, that’s compared to the 5.7, which nobody wants. The Hurricane, in any form, outperforms the 5.7 in every category - except maybe overall durability- I’d dare to say.

No body wants the 5.7L - interesting. The I6 being mostly plastic, no dip stick, etc I'd have though would put buyers off. It would me.

Too new to be true. The people that have bought them in the RHO love it.

I think over time it will become another legendary engine. if they put it into a car based on the medium platform it would happen faster. For now the trucks are going to have to move it along because not enough people are going to buy a Charger per year vs a truck.

I like the 5.7. Our Challenger still a fun car to drive and can go 12s. Maybe the 392 should just replace it then? I'm still more interested in a V8 with less power then a V6 turbo

Offering the 392 as the V8 option makes sense to me.

It's an inline Six, but I agree.

That was an early thermostat failure. Since then the entire thermostat housing has been redesigned. Since then the Hurricane has an excellent reliability rating. I still wouldn’t buy one for another two years.

hardly... you could beat the living shiite out of a slant 6, run it nearly out of oil, and it'd just keep on running

Turbo direct injection engines come with extra features like fuel dilution in the oil; valve deposits and extra complexity.

You were literally there for service on a brand new car too... one with known engine issues. lol Come on man :ROFLMAO:

If they can fit the 5.7 then they can fit the 6.4... so offer the 6.4 so that you have a competitive V8 in the truck instead of a boat anchor.

My 170 never haf a single issue and I thoroughly data logged mine to confirm. I did the plugs because why not. Rumor is they run a bit faster.
