blind optimism from the faithfull still can't overcome a brand with next to nothing to sell to the enthusiast public. If and when it comes about it will likely be the true "last call" as the dying breath of a once great brand.
I wish it wasn't so as I have been buying the brand since my 1969 GTX bought new in 1969.

I made a comment on the "other" forum questioning the substantiation behind the claims and I was slapped down by multiple members. My opinion of the "other" forum is nearing zero.

Crate engines don't count. Only thing I've seen from dodge since they canceled the hellcat was a useless hornet and an even uselesser ev they spent.millions on to cancel.

Idiots running the ship. It's not gonna last I'd they keep this up.

Couple things:

If new HC's were coming soon, the prices on current HC's would be crashing, they are not.

If new 170's were coming, sellers would not still be getting over sticker for 2 year old cars.

Would a corp really invest tens of $Billions to revamp a low volume speciality car with a small and shrinking market, especially when AOC might win the next election and pull the rug out from under the ICE?!?!?

Essentially the Direct Connection Stage 1 Hellcat Kit with Redeye valvetrain for ~ 792hp / 696 tq.

The HP increase will help offset the ~4,594 lbs to ~4776 lbs (+182 lbs) weight increase for the new STLA (LB) platform.

Be nice if they could lighten it up. Like maybe offer the aluminum block and a carbon fiber package. Rims, hood, trunk etc. They could probably lose a few 100 lbs off the front end.
